Gloucester’s Summer of Sound

Across the City, June – September

This summer, Gloucester is all about Sound. From June to September, we’re celebrating the sounds that make up our city, from some of the UK’s biggest live music acts to the quiet places in the city where you can find moments of connection.

Our Featured Events include the absolute icon that is Sir Tom Jones, who'll be entertaining a packed Kingsholm Stadium, along with epic summer vibes from unbelievable Ministry of Sound Classical, as part of Gloucester Rugby’s unmissable Summer Series in June.

The Gloucester Cathedral’s Organ Festival brings events from Jun-Sept, along with some amazing artists. We've also got the Three Choirs Festival, which is back in Gloucester in July and will be more magnificent than ever.

Also in July, the city’s much-loved Rhythm & Blues Festival, coordinated by our friends Gloucester BID is set to bring the streets (and pubs!) alive once again for ten jam-packed days. Over a week this August, dive into Lost in Music a world of rhythm, voice and tune at Gloucester Guildhall!

Head over to our website and explore our Music section to explore all the gigs and music events, the Take a Moment section for ways to explore your connection to the city through sound, and the City Sounds section for all the places that simply sing ‘Gloucester’.
