As the new year unfolds, Visit Gloucester is embracing a simple yet powerful resolution: to spend less time glued to our screens and more time immersed in real-world experiences.

The Food Dock is set to welcome two new independent businesses to Gloucester’s much loved food and drink neighbourhood this New Year. 

The much-loved Gloucester Folk Trail returns for 2026, promising three days of vibrant folk music, dance, hands-on workshops, performances and community spirit across the heart of the city.

This January, work has begun to restore the Pin Factory Annexe, a building of historic significance at The Folk of Gloucester.

It’s that time of year where some of us may have over indulged, had less sleep than we had planned, and may be feeling a bit sluggish, we know we are!
