FIERCE FOLK

Join Strike A Light for an evening of folk dance from around the world, brought to life with a fierce female perspective.

4 November // 7:30pm // Blackfriars Priory // Pay-what-you-can

Start your evening with a drink by the fire in the courtyard and a performance from the brilliant all-female Boss Morris, known for their playful, punk-inspired take on English morris dancing.

Followed by a vibrant performance from Gloucester's own Bharatanatyam dancers from NAPA Indian Performing Arts.

We'll finish the night with Kizlar by Ceyda Tanc Dance – a bold, modern take on traditional Turkish folk dance with a powerful feminist twist.

Expect folk, fire and fierce femininity.
