We are thrilled that Gloucester is a part of Moomin 80, as 2025 celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Moomins’ Stories with a curated series of magical events, all about finding home and welcoming people in. Events are taking place during Refugee Week from 14 - 22 June, whilst the Moomin ABC Exhibition is open until October 5th.
Join us in Gloucester to celebrate 80 years of the Moomins with a joyful programme of art, activities, and storytelling across Gloucester Docks, the Museum of Gloucester, and Gloucester Guildhall. Inspired by The Moomins and the Great Flood, this city-wide celebration explores the timeless themes of welcome, safety, and belonging—values at the heart of Tove Jansson’s beloved stories.
