About

The Rock B&B is a special place to stay in the Forest of Dean.

Located at 600 ft near Coleford, and a short walk from Symonds Yat Rock on the ridge between the Wye and Ruardean Valleys, spectacular far reaching views are the order of the day The Rock offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation within a mile of the Hereford, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire borders equidistant between Coleford, Monmouth and Ross on Wye. While rurally located it is close to excellent transport links.

Formerly The Rock Inn, it has welcomed guests for over 300 years to the Forest of Dean. The current owners Chris and Lindy now offer high quality, friendly Bed and Breakfast accommodation in 2 double, 2 twin, 1 single and 2 king size double bedded studios. All rooms are well equipped purpose built en suite 4 star hotel rooms located in two separate annexes accessed separately from the owners accommodation. All rooms offer views either over the forest (Forest View Rooms) or the Ruardean Valley. The Valley View rooms have either a balcony or private patio area with spectacular views toward Coppett Hill and the top of Coldwell cliffs these rooms offer large wet room or bathroom with a double ended bath and separate shower. Wi fi is available from the breakfast room.

All rooms are stylishly furnished in a contemporary style with the large B&B studios offering a real WOW factor with King size Beds sofas and full size

so you don't have to go to the breakfast room for breakfast as you can prepare your own continental breakfast from a pack picked up the night before from the dining room.

With walks starting 30 paces from the door Chris and Lindy have produced their own walking and touring guides of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean to ensure you get the most from your stay.

The nearest Pub serving food is just under a mile away with several others within two miles. Take aways can be eaten in the breakfast room, and the garden is available for guests
