About
When the Gloucester and Berkeley Canal was built it cut through Gloucester's history, in particular the site of Llanthony Secunda Priory. Over the last 200 years the docks themselves have changed and each decade has left reminders of the basin, buildings and railways of the docks. Tony Conder will take you on a walk around the docks highlighting these reminders and the stories behind them.
The tour will start at The Folk of Gloucester on 99-103 Westgate Street and will take around 90 minutes. Tickets: £7
Part of Gloucester Festival of Archaeology.
