Sabrinensis Chamber Choir - Dido & Aeneas

About

THE OPERA: A classic tale of the battle between the love and duty of a passionate woman and a conflicted man, all set to some of the most sublime music ever written. A story of devotion and perceived betrayal, of pride and honour — throw in a witches' coven and a few drunken sailors and you have Dido and Aeneas. Considered to be the first true British opera, Dido and Aeneas continues to enthrall audiences whenever it is performed.

THE CHOIR: The Gloucestershire-based chamber choir Sabrinensis and soloists will perform in the romantic settings of All Saints' Church, known as the 'Cathedral of the Forest', and the Courtyard at The Folk, and will be accompanied by a chamber ensemble.

This is a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to experience opera in such an intimate setting. It will be a thrilling experience. Please book your tickets early.
