Mindful Clay at Llanthony Secunda Priory

About

Join us for three mindful sessions to create your own ceramic lanterns in the historic Llanthony Secunda Priory!

Join us in the lead-up to Christmas for a series of three workshops led by Jonathan Walker, an experienced ceramicist. Learn the basics of handbuilding techniques to create your own lantern from paper clay, which you will decorate, glaze and fire.

Sessions will be held at Llanthony Secunda Priory, a heritage venue set within the historic remains of a 12th-century priory. Tickets are inclusive of all materials and firing of the work. Refreshments will also be provided during sessions.

Please note these sessions are intended for adults, attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please book for all three dates listed on eventbrite, as you will need to attend all sessions to create and finish your pieces.

Parking is not available onsite, but is available nearby at the Quays car parks or Sainsbury's. Bike parking available onsite.

Llantony Secunda Priory is a 10 minute walk from Gloucester Quays.
