Claudius has killed Hamlet's dad, married his mum, and seized his throne - what's an angsty royal teen to do? Hold onto your ruffs as we take you on a laugh-a-minute whirlwind tour of the Danish tragedy… with a little help from Frank Sinatra and Britney Spears, the Killers and Kanye West, ABBA, Queen, and Wicked!

Retelling the tale through extremely silly, re-lyriced versions of all your favourite pop and West End songs, Bristol Shakespeare Festival is proud to welcome back our debut show, full of skull puppets and line dancing. Now revamped for 2026 with all-new songs and suspiciously tatty re-used props!
