About
Join us for another magical evening of storytelling at Gloucester Storytelling Café as Anna Walker tells 'The Handless Maiden'.
A bargain made in haste and ignorance, a young woman who loses her hands, a long journey through forest and exile and the slow, strange, painful journey back to wholeness. Here is a tale that holds loss and grace together with elegance.
Anna Walker is a storyteller in the Celtic and ancestral traditions. Her tellings draw on myth, the body and the land. 'Anna, you're the best, most enchanting storyteller I have ever come across, I just love the way you tell and enchant me.' (Caro 2022)
