This workshop is part of a free five-week course running on Wednesday mornings from 4th February to 4th March. Places are limited, so if you are unable able to attend the majority of the sessions, please wait for future dates to be published.

Join us for an introduction to Sashiko and Boro: Japanese hand stitching techniques for mending and decorative uses. Based upon a simple running stitch, you will create a decorative collage from scrap materials. Make a palm thimble and a Sashiko pouch whilst learning a variety of mending and embellishing techniques for customising garments and recycling old denim.
