About
Discover the three historic Parliament Rooms in Church House, right next to the Cathedral. These rooms hold historical significance.
It is believed it is where Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn stayed in 1535, where Richard II conducted Parliament in 1378 and were also the former Abbot's lodgings when the Cathedral was an Abbey. These rooms are rarely open to the public.
Please note that access to the Parliament Rooms is via steps.
Drop in. No booking.
Please note that during the day on Saturday 13 September, the main Cathedral will be open to explore from 10am-1.30pm.
