About
Explore our historic listed buildings with one of our costumed guides representing a real historical figure connected to 99-103 Westgate Street.
Delve with us into the rich and diverse history of these unique buildings. Hear shocking tales of characters like Bishop Hooper, who burned at the stake in 1555. Learn about the people who lived here during the Siege of Gloucester in 1643, listen to the gossip from a servant maid, or meet an Edwardian undertaker. Ticket proceeds help to preserve these precious buildings for the next generation.
Our café and rustic garden are open for drinks, home-made snacks and light lunches. Drop in early to meet your guide and relax after your tour. While there is full access to the café and garden, please note that the Tour itself takes around 90 minutes with many steps and staircases, so it is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
Group offer: ten for the price of nine. Email johnb@gloucestercivictrust.org today to arrange your group rate.
