Now in it's twenty third year.. Café René is very excited to announce this years line up for the honkin stonkin foot stomping Rhythm & Blues Festival 2026!

Once again we're working around the clock to bring you a full seven days of the biggest, boldest and best in all things Bluesy

Featuring the signature weekend Green Stage, our famous BBQ and delicious hog roast.. tasty beers, ales, ciders and other drink selections will all be available from one of our bars

This years festival takes place Monday 27th of July to Sunday 2nd of August with a full week of live music including three days on the famous open-air Green Stage. The outdoor bar will be fully stocked and desperate dan burgers will be sizzling on the BBQ with a corking line up of incredible worldwide Blues & Roots musicians - the soundtrack to your summer!

Featuring blistering performances from Ben Poole, The Cinelli Brothers, Laurence Jones, Dirty Weather Blues Revue, The Worried Men, The Lewis Creaven Band and soo many more incredible acts!

All of this is situated in the heart of Gloucester, within easy reach of both parking and public transport. The festival will be totally free for all to enjoy – just as it has been for over two decades!
