Armed Forces Day 2025

About

This event is a joint venture between the Gloucester Armed Forces Day Committee and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, a group of volunteers.

There will be a military parade marching through the city (permissions and licenses inc road closures for this are being dealt with separately through GCC) and terminating outside of the museum. There will then be a bar within the museums footprint.

The event will run from 12:00 until 17:00, and involve a series of stalls from a variety of military charities, military units, cadets, the police, fire brigade and RNLI. We will also have a few military vehicles on site whilst respecting the Docks weight limit. We shall also be installing portaloos on site to cover the expected numbers of people attending.

There will be live music between the hours of 13:10 and 17:00 at various times.
