About

On selected Fridays, The Folk of Gloucester's cosy café is offering special afternoon teas with a selection of delicious homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches. Enjoy living the high life in the surroundings of this beautiful 500-year-old historic building and garden on Westgate Street!

Formerly home to Gloucester Folk Museum, The Folk of Gloucester is a stunning Tudor townhouse in the Cathedral Quarter, with beautifully preserved features including half-timbered rooms and original Tudor wall paintings. Look around the building and garden, chat to enthusiastic volunteers about the history of the site and those who lived here, and enjoy a slap-up afternoon tea in the front room!

Afternoon teas are £15 per person with tea or coffee, or if you're feeling fancy, £18 with prosecco. Space is limited, so booking ahead is essential via the link provided.

We cater for all dietary requirements including vegan, celiac, dairy free and more. Please contact the café manager at jo@gloucestercivictrust.org with any dietary restrictions or to arrange a custom date.
