Gloucester's Biggest Ever Foodie Passport Returns with a New Digital Experience!

Twenty restaurants, cafés and bars are inviting diners to eat their way around Gloucester this summer as the city's biggest-ever Foodie Passport returns with a brand-new digital experience.

Organised by Gloucester BID, the popular Foodie Passport Challenge runs from 1 August to 31 October, giving residents and visitors three whole months to discover Gloucester's thriving food scene, collect stamps and be in with the chance of winning fantastic foodie prizes.

Following the success of last year's inaugural event, Gloucester BID has listened to feedback from participants and introduced a host of exciting improvements. For the first time, diners can choose between using a digital Foodie Passport on their smartphone or collecting stamps in a traditional printed passport, making it even easier than ever for everyone to take part in the way that suits them best.

This year's challenge has also been extended from two months to three months, the start time has been brought forward from 5pm to 3pm, and a record 20 venues are taking part, making this the biggest Foodie Passport since the event launched.

From exciting new openings to much-loved local favourites, this year's line-up showcases the very best of Gloucester's growing food and drink scene. New venues joining the challenge include Muse and Banchina at Gloucester Quays, together with Crimson Spire, Terrae and West Window at Hotel Indigo® Gloucester – The Forum, alongside a fantastic selection of independent restaurants, cafés and pubs across the city centre.

Taking part couldn't be easier. Diners can either scan a QR code to access the digital Foodie Passport on their phone or pick up a printed passport from any participating venue. Simply visit participating venues from 3pm between 1 August and 31 October, collect a stamp with every visit and explore Gloucester's incredible food and drink offering. The more stamps you collect, the greater your chance of winning some delicious prizes. There are up to £650 in Gloucester Gift Cards up for grabs!
