12 Restaurants. One Delicious Adventure. Prizes to Be Won!

Get ready to eat your way around Gloucester this autumn! The city’s tastiest event, the Foodie Passport, is launching this September, and it’s your golden ticket to a flavour-packed journey through some of Gloucester’s best-loved eateries.

From 15th September to 31st October, locals and visitors alike are invited to dine out after 5pm, collect stamps in their very own Foodie Passport, and be in with a chance to win some mouthwatering prizes.

Those confirmed so far are Aroma, Dr Foster, The Fountain Inn, Spago, Cafe Rene, Island Bites, Coal Kitchen, and Topoly's. You’ll be able to sample everything from sizzling street food and Mediterranean magic to hearty pub favourites and global bites. It's the ultimate excuse for a night out (or twelve!).

Here’s how it works:

  • Pick up your Foodie Passport at any participating restaurant.
  • Eat out in the evening (from 5pm) at any of the 12 venues and collect a stamp with each visit.
  • Collect 6 stamps to complete the passport to be in with a chance to win a Gloucester Gift Card, up to £250. There are four prizes to be won!

Whether you're a die-hard foodie, a curious grazer, or just love a good excuse to eat out, the Foodie Passport is your guide to discovering new flavours and supporting local gems, all while having fun and winning prizes!

Dorian and Edwin Kirk, Owners of Dr Foster, say "We’re really excited to be part of the Gloucester Foodie Passport this year. It’s a fantastic way to showcase the amazing food and drink Gloucester has to offer, and we can’t wait to welcome both locals and visitors to Dr Foster between 15th September and 31st October. There’s never been a better time to explore the city’s independent food scene.”

Roya Heravi and Leila Heravi, Owners of Topoly’s, say “We can’t wait for all of this to unfold, sounds really exciting and glad to be a part of it.”

Emily Gibbon, Manager at Gloucester Business Improvement District (BID), says, “We wanted to spice things up in the city and give people a reason to explore after 5pm.”

“The Foodie Passport is a fun, feel-good way to support local restaurants and enjoy great nights out along the way.”
