Gloucester Quays Outdoor Ice Rink

All Month

The Winter Markets

Every Weekend, Until the 17 December

Located across Gloucester Quays and the historic Gloucester Docks, The Winter Markets showcase over 90 traders each weekend. The Markets are the perfect place to find that unique gift for friends and loved ones, soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy a day out for the whole family.

Floating Sleigh Rides

01 - 30 December

Head down to Gloucester Boat Hire for a festive sleigh ride in Gloucester Docks. Your very own Christmas elf will skipper the sleigh on a 15 minute trip along the canal, taking in local sights!

A Christmas Play - Myself & Other Parts

02 - 03 December

Myself & Other Parts is a new play written by Caroline Summerfield and starring Stephen Riddle. It is being perfomed at St Mary DeCrypt! Book Tickets now!

Runaway Reindeers

02 December - 07 January

Runaway Reindeers will be dashing all across Gloucester this Christmas as part of a magical, free art trail in the city centre. Families are invited to track down all the reindeer using a map and enjoy discovering these beautiful creatures!

Immersive Santa Experience

09 - 17 December

For four days only, Coal Kitchen are hosting a magical new event designed to immerse children and the whole family into a full-on festive experience! Santa and his jingly elves will be touching down in Gloucester for a morning of seasonal fun and excitement in the run up to the big day!

Mediaeval Inspired Christmas Revels and Yuletide Market

09 - 10 December

Two days of Yuletide Festive Jollities, across three venues, including two huge markets and the Traditional Christmas Parade through the city!

Santa Fun Run

09 December

Put on your festive fancy dress and run, walk, stroll or jog a 1 or 5 kilometre course around the city centre! Lets fill Kings Square with Santas!

The Gin To My Tonic Craft Spirit Festival

16 December

The Gin to My Tonic have embarked on a 25-date nationwide tour in 2023 visiting locations old and new, and uniting hundreds of different craft gins and spirits under one roof to create what can only be described as one epic celebration and they are coming to Blackfriars Priory on the 16 December!
