Gloucester is gearing up for a busy day this saturday, with three major events taking place!


Gloucester History Festival

Gloucester History Festival is now iin full swing after kicking off with Gloucester Day on September 2! This Saturday you can join in with the Heritage Open Days (8-10 September) as well as multiple talks at Blackfriars Priory! 

The Heritage Open Days include FREE tours around Sula Lightship, The Fleece Hotel, The Eastgate Chamber, Gloucester Antiques Centre, and much more! 

Gloucester History Festival is holding the first of many talks on September 9, hosted by Janian Ramirez, Susie Dent, Hiedi Thomas and Stephen McGann, David Olusoga, and Natalie Haynes!

These talks and tours are selling fast so don't miss your chance! 

Tickets are available to book on the Gloucester Civic Trust and Gloucester History Festival websites! 


Tour of Britian

Stage Seven of the Tour of Britian will be coming to Gloucestershire on September 9! It is our first ever full stage of the Tour of Britain and will feature Tewkesbury, the Cotswolds, South Gloucestershire, and a finish alongside the historic Gloucester Docks! 

It is set to be an unforgettable race day atmosphere and is free to watch!

Gloucester Pride

The annual Gloucester Pride celebration is back at Gloucester Park on September 9! The Pride March will start its journey around the city at 11:30, with the Pride Festival starting in Gloucester Park! 

Gloucester Pride is a joyful celebration that brings our comunity together!
