OUR HERITAGE OF SONG

About

120 years ago, our countryside was filled with the sound of people singing. We sang on the way to work, at work, on the way home from work and later if we had any money, in the pub with our friends.

This talk looks at that tradition, how we nearly lost it, and how our songs were saved so that we can enjoy them today.

Join Robin Burton as he takes us through the Gloucestershire tradition illustrated in pictures and song.
