Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Dr Foster, Gloucester on Thursday September 24th.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Topping the bill is comedian, writer, radio broadcaster and TV presenter Nick Page, a semi-finalist on 'Britain's Got Talent' and winner of English Comedian of the Year. The seemingly indestructible, larger than life, award winning English comic, whose life is a series of disasters, somehow turning into unlikely triumphs. No gimmicks, no PowerPoint, no props and no flipcharts. Just stories and belly laughs, he is a master of his art.

Opening the night will be Jules O'Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye.

Completing the line-up is the warm and light-hearted Ben Ashurst with his hilarious thoughts.

Compere for the night will be winner of Silver Stand Up Competition, the cheery and chatty Nik Hill.
