About

This estate village is centred upon the magnificent Stanway House with its baroque gatehouse and formal gardens with the highest (gravity fed) fountain in the world. The beautiful tithe barn and medieval church are also part of the Stanway estate. The village has a thatched wooden cricket pavilion, presented to the village by Sir James Barrie, the author of Peter Pan. Stanway is on the Cotswold Way.
