This family friendly event transports you back in time as we delve into the rich tapestry of one of the most influential civilisations in human history. Birdlip, with its own unique connection to Roman heritage, becomes the stage upon which we unravel the stories of conquest, innovation, and cultural exchange that defined the Roman era.

THE ARMY

Watch the legendary Ermin Street Guard march the Ermine Way to their encampment at Ruby's Birdlip . Performing exciting displays and re-inactments throughout the day.

THE FORUM

Life of a Roman… be transported back in time some 2000 years with fabulous archaeological displays and activities for all the family. Brought to you by Cotswold Archaeology, Museum of Gloucester, Corinium Museum, Chedworth Roman Villa.
