After a quiet January, Gloucester is ready to show you what it's all about this month! With a cargo of Arcade Games arriving, tickets on sale for Gloucester's Tall Ships Festival, learning about our rich history or catching a film at the Guildhall, there is something for everyone. Here are some of the highlights!

We've been told that a container with a mysterious cargo of arcade machines is heading for Gloucester. It's final destination - the Guildhall. But this is no ordinary shipping container. These are not ordinary arcade machines. Get your tickets now!


Gloucester Tall Ships Festival 

On sale now!

The Gloucester Tall Ships Festival will be sailing into Gloucester Docks on the 25-27 May! Discover cargo from far-flung lands, dive into the history of the docks, enjoy immersive performances and live music, and of course meet the magnificent flagships! You can choose between Sea Legs tickets, permitting access to the festival site and on board the famous tall ships, or a Land Lubbers ticket, for those who would like to access the festival site, but not board the ships.


Wildlife Photographer of the Year

6 February - 10 April

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit will be arriving at the Nature in Art museum of the 6 February. The Natural History Museum's annual competition and exhibition highlights the unique and beautiful relationship between photography, science and art. This is one of the only opportunities to see the renowned exhibition outside of London.


Folk Talks - Gloucester, the City that Defied a King 1643

Saturday 3 February

The Folk of Gloucester are hosting a book launch to celebrate the launch of Jon Eeles' first novel 'Gloucester, the city that Defied a King 1643.' Go along to hear all about the Siege of Gloucester. Jon will be reading passages from his book, signing copies and answering your questions!


The Boy and the Heron (12A)

3 February - 10 February

The new Studio Ghibli film will be screen at Gloucester Guildhall between the 3 February and the 10 February. A highly personal story, The Boy and the Heron is themed around coming-of-age and how to cope in a world marked by conflict and loss.


Champagne and Sparkling Wine Tasting

Wednesday 14 February

Join Our House at Gloucester Food Dock for a night of Champagne and sparkling wines from around the world accompanied by a charcuterie board to share with your loved one(s)! A perfect Valentines treat!
