Day 1

Gloucester’s Guildhall is an arts venue with an impressive programme of music, comedy, film, and theatre. As well as the 440-capacity main hall, there is a 100- seat boutique cinema, a café bar and a workshop housed within the beautiful Grade II listed building, visit their ‘what’s on’ to plan your visit.

Day 2
In the morning, start your day with a stroll along the docks, grabbing a fresh coffee and a breakfast toastie from On-Toast, a delightful café that serves everything, quite simply, with toast and then head over to browse the huge number of discount outlets in Gloucester Quays.

A delightful lunch spot can be found nearby at The Boat Café, an abandoned tour boat, now fully restored and serving homemade cakes and freshly made food. The afternoon is the perfect time to visit a museum or two, from the Museum of Gloucester to the National Waterways Museum, or The Tailor of Gloucester and The Folk of Gloucester, there really is something for all interests.
