About

St Oswalds Priory was founded by Warrior Queen Aethelflaed, daughter of Alfred the Great in 9th century. During the Civil War and the Siege of Gloucester, the priory was largely destroyed and this location features some beautifully preserved ruins and views of the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral.
