About

A former prison of 4 acres - opened in 1792 and in use until 2013 when it was closed down. Built to house around 300 prisoners in 3 different wings. Still contains cells, landings, kitchens, showers, hospital wing, exercise yards, visits room, closed visits, padded cell, workshops, chapel (converted into a nightclub) etc.  

The site has lights and power in most areas, working toilets and a small working kitchen.
