About
Pysanky are traditional Ukrainian Easter Eggs decorated with wax symbols and dipped in coloured dye. They represent rebirth and resurrection. Ex colour and symbol holds meaning and significance. Traditionally 13 eggs would be made: one for Christ and for each of the disciples.
This workshop is suitable for all. All materials are provided.
Because we want everyone to be able to take part, especially Ukrainians who have been displaced by war, we are selling tickets at just £5. This covers materials. However we believe that this workshop is worth much more than that, so we encourage you, if you can, to make a donation of at least £10 to the workshop leader on arrival.
