Road Directions
From the North: Get off the M5 at Junction 11, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A40 (signposted Gloucester/Cirencester). At Elmbridge Court roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A417. At C&G roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417. At Walls roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. Continue forward along Eastern Avenue until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Finlay Road. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Reservoir Road. The entrance to Robinswood Hill is just on the right.
From the South: Get off the M5 at Junction 12, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the B4008. At the Cross Keys Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout continue forward. At the traffic lights turn right onto Cole Avenue (A38). At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Reservoir Road. The entrance to Robinswood Hill is just on the right.
Public Transport Directions
Robinswood Hill is approximately 3 miles out of Gloucester City Centre. To get there by bus you would need to get the Stagecoach 63 which runs from Gloucester to Stroud. The 63 runs from Gloucester Bus Station once an hour. You would need to get off the bus by St. Barnabas Church which is just before the first roundabout on the bus route. From the bus stop cross Finlay Road and walk up Reservoir Road. From the bus stop it is approximately a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Robinswood Hill.
Opening Times
* Robinswood Hill Country Park is open from 8am until Dusk. On arrival please check the entrance gate which will display the closing time for that specific day. The hill is accesible 24 hours a day even when the visitor centre and car park is shut.
In the summer the gates are closed at 9pm.
