What’s On
Marvellous May has arrived, and for those that are lucky enough, it brings two Bank Holidays with it! We had some lovely sunshine towards the end of April, so let’s hope we continue to be spoilt here in Gloucester this month – that said, we have lots going on, both inside and outside!
Orchard St Food Market returns on the first weekend of the month, with delicious food and wonderful locally made creations, you’ll find it at Gloucester Quays.
Plock Court is hosting a fab charity event on the 9 May, Colour Up For Kids, with a splash of colour, bubbles, music, and inflatables! Run, walk, or skip through this fun-filled family event while supporting local children facing childhood cancer, life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Also on the 9 May, is Polish Heritage Day, celebrating Polish Heritage right in the heart of Gloucester at City Park.
You can join in the celebrations of the Eurovision Watch Party at Dr. Fosters on the 16 May, and towards the end of the month, why not head down to their Real Ale Festival!
And whilst you are in the Docks, Llanthony Secunda Priory’s Cheese & Cider Open Day is well worth a visit, you can meet the makers, and even try the famous Gloucester Sport, Cheese Rolling, though of the smaller variety, and without the incline of Cooper’s Hill!
