The summer holidays have started and it is a busy 6 weeks in the city!
Lions at Large has roared into the streets of Gloucester & Cheltenham with 32 large lion sculptures ready to be found! And don’t forget to look out for the Cub Club – a pride of little lions lovingly created by local schools and community groups!
The Crafts that Built the Cathedral exhibition is now on display! This exhibition celebrates the heritage skills behind Gloucester Cathedral. Throughout the year, participants have taken part in specialist workshops and community events led by experts with the exhibition now showcasing some of their glorious creations!
The city swings again with the return of the annual Rhythm & Blues Festival! For ten jam-packed days, from 25 July to 3 August, local legends, rising stars, and international blues talents will take over pubs and live music venues across the city!
Saturday 2 August sees Meet, Make, Play at Gloucester Guildhall, an interactive festival where families can connect, explore and create together.
The much-loved Gloucester Goes Retro returns on 23 August! With a live music stage, the classic car show across the Gate Streets and Kings Square on Sea taking you back to the classic seaside holiday, there is something for everyone! It’s been going for TEN YEARS! Can you believe it?!
Get ready for a dance/circus spectacular at Gloucester Docks! The Weight of Water arrive on the 30-31 August for a family friendly and free performance in the North Quay!
