Map & Directions

Road Directions

Gloucester may be reached from junctions 11, 11A and 12 of the M5 and is signposted from junction 15 on the M4. It is on the A38, A40 and A417. On approach to the city follow the signs for the City Centre or Gloucester Docks.

Once you have arrived into the city centre then the closest car parking to The Tall Ship is in The Gloucester Docks car park which can be accessed from Southgate Street or by entering GL1 2DB into your Sat-Nav. Alternately follow the signs for short stay parking to be directed to one of the city centre's many available car parks from where The Tall Ship will be only a short walk away.

Public Transport Directions

Approximately a 10/15 minute walk from Gloucester Bus and Train Station. From the Train Station, cross Bruton Way and walk in to the Bus Station. Walk through the Bus Station on to Station Road. Continue forward in to Clarence Street and turn right at the end in to Eastgate Street. At the end of Eastgate Street you will be at 'the cross' (where the four main 'gate' streets meet). Turn left into Southgate Street, walk past the Tourist Information Centre on the right and continue down Southgate Street past Kimbrose Triangle. Take the next right in to the main Docks entrance and The Tall Ship will be on your left hand side.
