About

A village in the heart of the north cotswold country in the upper reaches of the Windrush Valley. There is a small village green, with the Old Post office shop and cafe being at the centre, a village hall and then with a pub at either end of the village.Excellent walking  routes into Guiting Wood and over the hills ensure a pleasant rural view.

There is a strong sense of community and tradition in the village including annual events  and a quintessential traditional Church St Michael & All Angels.  Anglo-Saxon church foundations and a nearby barrow testify to the village's long history of settlement.

The Cotswold Farm Park is nearby and a golf course at nearby village of Naunton.

A few miles away you will find the small village of Temple Guiting with the Temple Guiting Pantry shop and cafe a true Cotswold hidden gem.
