‘Glorious Glevum’ Tour

Join Lucius Sita, our resident auxiliary Roman soldier, for a guided introduction to Roman Glevum and the treasures, visible and hidden in the Museum of Gloucester. Why did the Romans settle here? What were conditions like in the army? What was ‘fast food’ for an auxiliary foot soldier? All this and more with Lucius as your guide…

Dates/Times: Thursday 14 and 23 April and 27 August. 2-3pm. Tour lasts approx. 1 hour.

Places: Max places of 8 people per tour.

Prices: Family ticket £20 (2 adults and 3 children over 5 - this tour is not suitable for children under 5). Adults £8.50 and children £3. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Notes: Due to the nature of the building, multiple stairs, and some small spaces, this tour is unfortunately not suitable for disabled access.
