About
Following their series of exploratory workshops led by international artist Lisl Ponger, Hundred Heroines are now at the making stage of the Great Train Tapestry – a large, contemporary textile artwork, to be exhibited in 2024, that explores the history and stories of GWR, its relationship to Gloucester, women, borders, labour, the textile industry ...
They're running a series of workshops exploring and experimenting with different techniques. Why not come along, be creative and add your contribution to this unique story.
All workshops are free, and theywill be doing tons of sessions in the lead up to the end of the year. They're exploring photography with Canon equipment and lighting, Batik with wax and dyes, sublimation printing and synthetic dyes, embroidery, applique, and more!
