Len Adams of the Soldiers of Gloucester Museum will be giving a verbal walk through each gallery, outlining the history of both the Gloucester's and The Royal Gloucester Hussars.
He will cover the formation of both regiments and move on to the first 2 galleries after our colours which cover the Napoleonic period then into the Victorian age, the Great War and WW2 along with our medals gallery, National Service and Korea,
Germany and peacekeeping activities with the UN and Northern Ireland up to our amalgamation with The Duke of Edinburgh Regiment forming Royal Gloucester Berkshire and Wiltshire and then the formation of the Rifles as we know them today a total of nearly 330 years of history.
