With a Civic Trust guide, learn why the Romans came to Gloucester. Discover Roman Walls in the Eastgate Chamber, walk down the site of the Forum and meet Emperor Nerva. See aspects of Roman life including mosaics, jewellery, weaponry and tombstones on display in the Museum.

Dates/Times: Roman walks start at 10.30 am from the Museum of Gloucester on the following Fridays:

1 and 22 April

6 and 20 May

3 and 17 June

1, 15 and 29 July

12 and 26 August

16 September

Prices: Tickets £6 per adult £6pp (concessions £1 under 11 / £2.50 over 11). Max places of 15 per tour.

Duration: The Roman walk lasts approx. 75-90 minutes.

Notes: Access to the Chamber part of the tour may be difficult for those with mobility problems. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
